On May 7, 2014, the House THUD Subcommittee approved the FY'15 DOT Appropriations bill, HR 4745, by a voice vote. On May 21, 2014, the full House Appropriations Committee approved the FY'15 THUD bill by a vote of 28 to 21. On June 10, 2014 the full House approved the THUD bill by a vote of 229 to 192.
On June 3, 2014, the Senate THUD Subcommitee approved the FY'15 DOT Appropriations bill, S. 2438, by a voice vote. On June 5, 2014, the full Senate Appropriations Committee approved the FY'15 THUD bill by a vote of 29 to 1. The stand-alone bill never went to the Senate floor.
On December 11, 2014 Congress passed the FY'15 US DOT Appropriations bill as part of a $1.1 trillion government-wide omnibus or "CRominibus" appropriations bill.
On December 16, 2014 President Obama signed the bill into law.
